1. Jonathan Kellerman, Bones (Alex Delaware) -- this is actually one of the better Alex Delaware novels among recent ones, both my mother and I thought. ( Non-spoilery )

Yeah, I heard the third Libba Bray book is worse... Fee is definitely my favorite character, and delivers a lot of pwnage! I liked Gemma quite a bit in AGATB, but in this one, I just didn't feel much for her -- maybe because there seems to be less character development with her here -- well, there are the romantic aspects, but that didn't interest me as much (though I did kind of like Simon).

I liked the "poor Lucifer" scene, yes! (I'm such a Paradise Lost fangirl, in general :P)

And, anagrams, heh. I did get into anagrams at some point, by way of a book, though I don't remember which one. And substitution ciphers - I was into those for a long time. :)
