i think the most obvious solution is to take your hamster to the veterinarian. but where is he or she bleeding from? if it's a female, she might be menstruating.

It wouldn't hurt to tell us what's bleeding and if you have any idea why, either.

After reading your boyfriend's post, I'd say the ham's injuries are most definitely child-related. The kids either dropped or flung the poor ham to the floor or squeezed him too tightly. Poor thing probably has head trauma and internal injuries. Make him as comfortable as possible while you find a vet that treats hams. Any type of bleeding is serious in such a small animal so time is of the essence. Good luck.

How much blood is there? Do you have another hamster that could have fought with this one and injured it?

But I second everybody else: HAMSTER. VET. NOW. GO!

well.. my boyfriend's mom won't take it to the vet :\
and he said he's pretty much dying.. :(
