Aww.. shes really cute! Do you have a wheel for her to run on inside her cage, or is that what a Liberty Ball is?

Yes, I do - I got one of those OVO cages with everything built in, so there's a wheel in there, and I hear her on it at night sometimes. She just keeps getting fatter, though, so I'm trying to get her into her ball more often.

And thank you *_* She's lovely.

Are you feeding her too many treats? I know sunflower seeds will make them fat.
I don't know how big the ovo wheels are exactly.. does her back curve while she's in it? For my syrian I'm using a wodent wheel since he wasn't using his smaller wheel when I adopted him.

I don't... think so. The only treats I give her are some veggies every few days, and some Cheerio-sized timothy hay treats every now and then. I was warned against alfalfa and sugary treats like the yogurt-covered ones, so I'm trying to keep it simple as possible.

I don't see her in it very often (she pretty much only uses it at night), so it's hard to say, but I'll look out for that! Thanks for the tip.

Aw she has the same patterns as my ham Pickles but my ham is a tad more orange. So cute!!! Good luck :) If you find she doesnt like the ball as much, do you have a bathtub you might be able to let her wander in to let her run in a bit more room? People also suggest getting in the tub (clothed) with the hams to let them get used to your smell and such.

That's a great idea, thanks! I'll try it out while we're cleaning the cage today.

What a gorgeouse ham :) For the Ovo Cages there are some reaslly great wheels used to attatch to the outside of the cage. Its kind of like a suspension wheel. There nice and big for larger hams, my Alice loves hers, her back dosen't arch in it like the origonal interior one that came with the cage, and I love that I don't hear it at night. Plus its super fun to be able to see her running in her wheel through the plastic sides :)
