Wendy was just drinking for at least ten minutes so I got up to see what the issue was. I picked her up and in the process tilted her on an angle and about a quarter of a cup of water poured out of her cheeks and onto me. She was storing water, like a tiny camel.

My teddybear is insane.

Oh, for funny! I've noticed my hammie drinking for long periods but never suspected it could be that...maybe it's a genetic memory of being 'syrian' and in dryer climates?!

my female teddybear hasn't stored any water but she does drink like crazy and for long periods at a time... my male on the other hand doesn't. His water bottle is always more filled than hers when i change their water.
