I gave Betty a "bath" by wiping her down with a wet paper towel two nights ago. She was looking a little greasy and now she looks much cleaner. I noticed something again - when I pet her or scratch her back, she stiffens her whole body and sticks her tail straight up in the air. Betty is horny. LOL! It's what some female hamsters (especially Syrians, I've noticed) do when they think your hand is a male hamster! It usually happens when they're in heat, and around the same time you may notice some discharge, which is perfectly normal. :)

Definitely "presenting". Our two female hamsters are really funny; we put them in a big box to visit once and they both would do nothing but "present" to each other. They'd both stand still for like five minutes like that.
