Happy Birthday

Notes; In honor of Daniel’s birthday! Happy sweet sixteen!

It sucks to be sick right now, Daniel decides. Being stuck in bed with a sore throat and flu isn’t the best thing on the day of his sixteenth birthday. The members have been planning to buy him a nice lunch somewhere and then take him to the amusement park before ending the day with a large birthday cake they’ve already ordered 3 days ago.
Unfortunately, all of them are down with a bout of flu, which earns them a ban from leaving the dorms from their manager. And again, it sucks. Daniel sighs and flops down on his bed, groaning when he catches sight of the nice Rubik’s Cube clock given to him by one of the Infinite hyungs. It’s already 10.30 and nearly half the day of his special day is gone.
A loud bang on the front door and loud chuckles and grumbles alerts Daniel that his much more well hyung, Minsoo, has gone and come back with the manager. The door to his shared room with the leader of Teen Top slams open and in comes the other 5 members, still looking a little under the weather but definitely healthier than the frail birthday boy.
“Saengil chukka hamnida! Saengil chukka hamnida! Saengil chukka Daniel! Saengil chukka hamnida!” the 5 of them sing, allowing Byunghun to come in first, carrying the large vanilla ice cream cake into the room.
“Saengil chukka Niel,” grins Changhyun, giving him a hug. “It sucks to be sick because it completely ruined our plans, but we can have the cake and do a movie marathon instead!”
All the members are grinning at him and Daniel feels a fuzzy warmth in his chest. “Thanks guys,” he says, tearing up a little. “Really, I think this is the best birthday ever,”

A little after midnight, there are 6 boys laying all over the living room, tired out from spending the day watching movies and playing whatever games they could think up.
Daniel feels warmth around him. It’s the members all rolling in for a large group hug. He smiles. This is definitely the best birthday ever.
