oh, I liked this ep, had been a bit bleh on the second series so far.

Was there a Torchwood ref in ep. 1? Am figuring there will be one in every ep and possibly JB in the last ep, sent to apprehend the doctor?

Indeed, he was the baddest of all baddies and there was TH/DT chemistry
Am wondering if he might be the "presumed dead" enemy in the end of series two ep finale....

It was very good and the later eps were even better as relationships were forged and the subplots built towards the finale. Have you met the Slitheens and Captain Jack yet? The "games" ep might not carry - you need to know British TV gameshows.

After initial doubts still preferring CE to DT as the doctor - new ones needs to be more than manic. What's the audience figures like?

This series has fewer viewers but is still very high ranking for UK TV.
Captain Jack is fun! You'll have to let me know what you think!

imdb has him listed for the last two eps, but Barrowman claimed to be meeting Tennant for the first time three weeks ago on 'This Morning' or some such. Who knows.

Interesting notion. Could make things very confusing for the 3rd season running *after* Torchwood.

Well C's stupid theories of this series is that we will see him in the two part finale. Wonder if TH will be the "presumed dead" enemy?

erm my least favourite of the 3 so far - it was really good from the looking back prospective and K9 but at times it just felt too forced and I just felt that the tension was in the camera cuts (which with the plot it had to be) but apart from TH OTT'ing the bad guys just weren't scary and long neck?
