:D Awesome presents.

I got, um, some DVDs I requested, some money, and a scarf. Except the scarf was actually the wrapping for my mum's present, she just gave it back to me. ETA: NOT THAT I AM COMPLAINING. Scarves are awesome, and so is money.

Oohhh Hogfather, I actually really liked that (I was not really expecting to)! You'd think they wouldn't be able to cram Discworld stuff onto a screen but it worked really well!

I'll be in Albuquerque for my grandparents' 65th wedding anniversary/family reunion of all their siblings/kids/grandkids, and then visiting my bro, yeah. I wish I could stop over in A2, but yeah. :(

OTOH I'll be back in NYC in December for almost a month, so if you're still around ...

They are very exciting! And um, it's just literally called "19th Century Embroidery Techniques", you can find it on amazon! It's really good it's COVERED in all these really excellent colorful pictures :D :D
