So, Bees did an amazing sketch of Frederique (and myself at the bottom!) here, and it was so nifty I just had to color it and stuff and that is what I spent that last... 8 or so hours doing????? Anyway I am extremely pleased with the result and since I don't put anything on deviantart any more I'm sticking it up here instead

Ooh, papery background! (I can almost feel it!) Is that yellow lilies? You should colour yourself*, too! (Also, I have a distinct suspicion that when you flip open the locket Bees drew it plays a midi version of "A Whole New World".)

*Not as in 'paint yourself blue and run into a tree'. I mean, you could do that, too, but it should probably wait till summer.

I thought so. She does have an exotic mistressy air. (I swear my activities today have consisted exclusively of
1. staring out of the window watching the snow melt and
2. trying to get my breasts to touch my arms. [THEY WON'T. THIS IS TRAGIC. I SHALL NEVER LIVE UP TO THIS IMAGE.]) And that's almost a German tricolour there - red, black(ish), gold. I assume that was not intended.
