[The feed clicks on to show Maka at the counter of the PokéCenter waiting for the return of her Pokémon. She smiles cheerily at the screen before giving a thumbs up.]
See, Soul? I told you I'd be okay. I think the weather was more of a threat than the trainers or the Pokémon.
Bro-what? [COUGH] Thanks, Dave, I'll be glad to see Soul again, too. Pokémon are nice and all, but...it gets pretty quiet when you've only got them for company, y'know?
Yeah, the trainers get more annoying than anything. This one wouldn't stop following me harassing me for a battle. Kept saying something about how great his Rattata was or something.
[The video turned on for JUST A SECOND, because right after that he realized Maka's in the Pokemon center right now and wooooosh --- here he comes! His Kadabra follows behind him, complaining about how fast he's running and she can't keep up aaaaah ;A;, whereas his Weedle was lucky and hitched a ride in his hair.]
[He hasn't come in yet though, of course. He wanted to a) catch his breath, and b) enter all cool like. Sauntering in and shit, hands in pockets. You know the walk. B)]

Hey! About time you got here. Didn't keep you waiting too long, did I?

Sounds more like I kept you. Tch.
[Oh hi, Maka. Have a confused Maka Kadabrarn wandering up to you with a "how am I named after YOU B|" kind of face.]
So, nothing happened on your way here, I guess?
