That article assumes that people with his point of view are not of a large number, and that every single example he gives cannot be turned around very easily and realistically. For example, people DID question and criticize Sarah Palin's academic record,and accordingly downgrade their assumptions of her intelligence. People DO say or accept, on a regular basis, that it's perfectly acceptable for black people to behave in racist fashion because of the injustice that's happened to their 'race'. Those are only two examples of the many things he claims don't ever happen that actually do happen, all the time. Of course they happen. I guess if people want to flagellate themselves for being 'white', have at it, but it makes no sense to me.
taking the race card out of it... there's a huge disparity of power via money involved there too. money that most of us will not realize. plus other layers.
