It's pretty clear the jackasses are more than happy to throw poor women under the buss for political reasons. I doubt they would have revised their criteria if there hadn't been enough of a backlash to threaten future fundraising efforts.

You have made a wise choice backing off the recent grievous error you made in deciding to disqualify Planned Parenthood from funding. However, if you expect us to believe that this was NOT a political decision, you have to make one more change: Fire Karen Handel. Fire her now. Fire her with extreme prejudice. "Brinker, in an interview with MSNBC, said Handel didn't have a significant role in the policy change." - we don't believe you.
Her replacement does NOT have to be a PP supporter - though I would personally approve if they were. Honestly, it's probably better for everyone if the new person is entirely neutral on the topic (at least in public).
Finally, to Ms Handel and all in her camp: Don't try to come back in 6 months and find some other lame excuse for _NOW_ defunding the PP grants. It WILL be noticed.
