Tip o'the hat to Camille West for the title.I had a disturbing dream shortly before waking up this morning. My right big toe had suddenly begun to disintegrate. I mean, it was literally rotting from the inside out. I could see inside my toe. Gross and painful, not to mention distressing as hell

Hmm. I just read a biography of Frida Kahlo, whose right foot essentially slowly disintegrated as a result of a traffic accident, and she painted pictures of her pain, including a lot of images in which the insides of things (body parts representing feelings) are visible on the outsides.

Not that that's helpful information, but that's what your dream made me think of.

I hate unsettling dreams. I had one last night about a tiger being carved up alive for meat at a market. Rescued it but still woke up with way too many bad visuals and feeling shaky. Bleh.
