Ah! I saw the title & was so hoping for a Gay Perry cameo :D

Instead: Luck het pseudoporn. Really really have no idea what to expect from this fic, which is amazing b/c every Kurtofsky fic I've seen follows one of like 3 fanfic tropes.

Also, kudos on stringing us along about who the heck Dave is/was personality-wise. We've seen so little of his true self canonically that he could have any of a range of personality types.

So... Britanna huh? Any Faberry? Samcedes? Fin/ummm... hmm. Jesse StJ? <3<3

Oooh, I don't want to tip my hand. Well, okay - yes Britanna (and Lord Tubbington, of course), yes Finn, Rachel, Quinn and Jesse all make their appearances, as do all the other major Glee characters. But just like what's gone before, everyone will be in-character but wildly out-of-place. And except for Dave and Finn, Kurt's never met any of them before tonight.

So glad this fic is keeping you interested. It's very liberating to write Crack!Fic so I don't have to worry if something is logical or makes any kind of sense. Are these the three Kurtofsky tropes: (1) Dave is a bad guy who stalks and victimizes Kurt; (2) Dave is a good guy who doesn't do anything but long for Kurt from afar, but then Kurt comes to understand and then fall in love with Dave; (3) Dave is a good guy who actively woos and wins Kurt's heart?

Don't sell your crack fic skillz short! You're basically inventing your own internal consistancy, & if you deviate from it or break your own rules the reader can't gloss over it or fill in the blanks with canon or mainstream fanon. That's in addition to keeping an engaging voice and tone, which this fic showcases so well.

Not really sure that first trope falls into the Kurtofsky realm (though I'd read it). Mainly all 3 involve sacks of discomfort, angst and pining (WIN!), but vary regarding how much time & emotional distance Dave has put between himself and the Cake Topper Horror. Kinda light on the actively wooing & winning.

Here, we don't know what Dave has to distance himself emotionally from. I'm betting it's that Kurt was a totally obsessed creeper hell bent on touching Dave's shoulder inappropriately at every opportune moment ala S1 Furt. Yes?

Now that I really can't tell you. But you're absolutely right - in some ways Dave is the hardest character to write, because he's all over the map on the show.

Oh, my God! This fic surprised the hell out of me! I love it. It reminds me of 'Night on the Lonesome October' by Richard Laymon with the crazy characters and humour.

I adore the world you've created and can't wait for the update!

Wow, I'm really flattered you like it so much. I've never heard of the novel you mention. The 'inspiration' for this story is a movie from the mid-1980s called "After Hours," where a guy goes into downtown Manhattan one night to see a girl he just met, and has one bizarre misadventure after another. I hope the rest of the story doesn't disappoint.
