I realize this is silly, but after today's pregame festivities, I feel really proud to be a Tiger fan. No lives were saved, no hungry people were fed, and a guy who probably already has a really nice sports car just got another one, but what a classy organization, top to bottom

Isn't GM privately owned by the government now? Damn socialism! Our tax money paid for that car! And he could have bought one with his own salary!

Well, there did seem to be a lot of public sentiment for the perfect game to get recognized. Maybe this is AMERICA'S way of doing it!
