Madeleine L'Engle died. I don't remember the last time I was this sad about the death of an author -- especially not one whose works I haven't read in years.
so i just randomly decided to check up on your life and apparently had missed the memo about madeleine...and oh my gosh, this sucks. i loved loved loved some of her books. i wrote a letter to her that i never sent. such an inspiration.
in happier news (like really...that's going to take some processing a month later), i love you & think about you & hope our paths cross again one of these days. hopefully there will be more massages and hairbraiding.
makes me smile to hear from you. i think massages and hairbraiding would be fantastic.
what are you up to these days? still at ... Amherst? i'm in Webster, MA, for a couple more weeks. i seem to be fairly close but prohibitively far from all kinds of wonderful people out here.
