Neville is Love, and I'm glad to hear my fic is doing its part to make that known to The World ;) Thanks for your kind words!

This is really perfect! I had wondered how he would have had the opportunity to insult the Carrows that way, and the way you weaved it into the lessons (along with Alecto Carrow's disgusting and stupid ways) was very plausible.

I like the end, where Neville takes a step back, showing very clearly his commitment to his fellow students, to the DA, and his firm belief in Harry. That was very touching.

Lovely read, thank you!

Thanks! I thought about writing a knock-down, drag-out fight between Neville and Carrow. But then I realized, that's what Harry might have done. Neville is his own man, and I thought this ending was more IC for him.

Oh, wonderful! I love your description of leader!Neville and how everyone follows his lead, as well as the Carrows and their disgusting lessons.

The last line was perfect and chilling in its double meaning. Well done!

Coming from Mrs. Neville herself, that means a lot ;) And I'm glad you caught the little joke at the end. I figure if there's one sure sign of Purest Evil, its the use of puns. Thanks for reviewing!

This is absolutely brilliant. Your portrayal of DH!Neville is completely spot-on, and all the more poignant because you can see glimpses of the boy he was (for example, the thought that he's only a leader by default). Again, wonderful job, and thanks so much for picking the prompt. :)
