it's a rare thing if I ever write a happy ending I'm afraid, I'm glad you liked it!

Very good. I actually wanted this promt but I knew you’d do a smashing job.

I have a different version of this that I just had to write, don’t know if it’ll ever get off my hard drive though. It is funny that we both sent Shay to Termonfeckin with Lavender. It is a sleepy little place where nothing ever happens.

It would be great to read your story, I hope it finds its way from your hard drive!
Termonfeckin? really? that's great! It's such a fantastic name for a town and the fact that it's such a sleepy place means that there's so much potential really. Termonfeckin is fabulous!
I'm glad you liked the story and I hope to read yours soon!

Alright then, This doesn’t exactly fit the Challenge because I didn’t have to follow the rules. So I placed it about a year and a half after the battle. It worked better for the story that way.

Un betad but I’m pretty confident

Oh God, this is absolutely heartbreaking... and yet beautiful, as usual! :)

thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It was never really going to end up being a happy ending, but I did feel like I was being a bit harsh with Shay at the end, leaving him sobbing alone. So....I'm really happy that you like it!
