I have faced down college professors without fear or mercy. I have duelled angry socialite students wishing to reserve the study rooms for birthday parties. I have vanquished parents suffering from separation anxiety, wishing to camp in the main lobby of my library.

But no threat I have overcome can compare to a spider the size of a Coke can.

I've written quite a few books prior this stint as librarian, actually. I'd been rather stuck on my current selection, though, until I realized the problem was that I was attempting to write a tale that simply did not wish to be written, at this time or in that way.

Once that epiphany hit me (unfortunately while I was clinging to the top of the twelve-foot bookcase, staring my arachnid nemesis in the face,) everything became clear.

And Jin and Ulquiorra are both rather good examples of Tall, Imposing and Silent Heroes, aren't they?

As for Jin and Ulquiorra, I wouldn't know, as I've yet to meet either of them.
