As The Shoes Fill Up With Water

What a FANTASTIC day it was today. I spent the good majority of it outdoors in the gorgeousness that is Michigan autumn raking leaves for my next door neighbor, jumping into a big pile of them, dragging them to their back yard on an old blanket used for such purposes and tripping on said blanket as I tried to karate kick some of the leaves off. I miss that very much as well. I found the skeleton that used to hang in our room the other day and laughed VERY hard as I remembered when you made it reach off the wall and scared the crap out of me. Oh how I miss you.

P.S. It would be a whole lot easier if the future could be planned... *sigh*

i have come to find that those moments of peace, however fleeting, are worth waiting for, however much toil and misery you have to go through before another moment finds you.

They are very much worth waiting for. I've been working really hard at allowing myself a little bit of time each day to center myself on what is really important. Let's face it, the things in life that are "really important" are a helluva lot fewer and easier to spot than all the other gobbledeegook. Thank you for being such an amazing part of my life.
