oh geez. that is pretty bad! Did this change come b/c of the outsoucing? I would think that with you being the IT guy they would tell you. Not good.....
The outsourcing itself isn't the issue. There's a communication problem. I'm not one of the developers on the project, I'm a database and server wrangler for this. As a result I'm not in the loop on most exchanges as I don't need to be.
The problem arises when I need to be notified of something like a delay. Everyone at my end is so used to everyone else being on the CC list, they forget to check to see if I was informed.
Eeyouch! HATE weeks like that... :-( Sending warm sleepy thoughts to your son.
There is always my mother's theory on getting fussy babies to sleep... Teething? Rub scotch on their gums! Not teething? Rub scotch on their gums! Hot toddies = sleeping children! It worked for her. ;-)
This would be why I asked that we give him Tylenol last night at 7pm and Ibuprophen at 11:30 when Halley got home. Doesn't mean the little pain in my ass didn't keep me up till 10:30 and doesn't mean he didn't wake me up again at 4:45 this morning. Just means he slept through the intervening hours unlike the previous night.
