At the most, it was maybe five minutes after their conversation that a giant, glowing doorway opened up right in Shito's room. Devit emerged a few seconds later, alone, miserable-looking, and hugging himself like his life depended on it. He stopped about a foot inside and glanced around awkwardly.

"So, uh. I'm here?"

Shito was sitting on his bed with his computer keyboard and his biggest Betty doll snuggled into his arms. He looked up, startled by the speed in which Devit showed up.

He looked nearly as miserable, though at least he'd had some hugs from Chika earlier.

"Are you okay?" he asked, sitting up in surprise. He'd imagined that if Devit had needed hugs, he'd have been able to get them from Jasdero...who didn't seem to be on his way.

Another surprise.

Okay? What a retarded question! And the glare Devit fixed Shito with said just as much. "Peachy."

He didn't move any further into the room, however, and instead glanced over his shoulder, back into the doorway.

Shito glared back, irritable that Devit was pissed at him for what was a perfectly logical question. He set the keyboard and doll aside and looked up at the other boy expectantly.

"Changing your mind?" He shifted a little lower on the bed, hugging himself. "There's room here if you're planning on staying."

Devit looked at the doorway for a moment longer. Jasdero was on the other side, close enough that Devit could run through and cling to him, if he wanted to. He'd already spent most of the day with his twin draped over him in some way, and it worked perfectly against the effects of the virus, and it would've continued working perfectly, if the stupid zombie hadn't agreed to have Devit come here! (Because his current state of misery was all Shito's fault, of course.)

He turned to face the other boy again, finding the offer to be extremely inviting, in spite of his irritability and uneasiness. And honestly, if he didn't take him up on it, Shito could end up with any number of freaks hanging off of him, and that just wouldn't do! So this was like a favor to him. Look at how nice and generous Devit can be! Shito should be grateful ( ... )
