Waiting for Mr. Carstone

Freyja is sitting in her room, waiting for Richard to make an appearance and hold up his end of the deal. It is true she never specified an exact time but it has been longer than she would have liked and the goddess is beginning to get a bit annoyed. With an annoyed sigh she sends a not so subtle suggestion in his direction that indicates it

Richard was, in fact, not far away, but had been having an argument with himself. He had backed himself into a situation where he would be betraying someone, and he was trying to determine the best course to take as he slowly walked towards Freyja's room.

It wasn't that he hadn't enjoyed the last encounter. On the contrary, the problem was just how much he had enjoyed it. And with her magical nudge, he found himself heading her way with a bit more purpose than previously.

Freyja can sense that Richard is finally coming to her and she smiles like the proverbial cat with the canary.

It still takes a bit for him to get there, but his progress is more or less steady. Finally he knocks.

The door opens on its own whilke Freyja remains seated on her bed. "There you are! I was worried it was going to take you until Ragnarok to get here!"
