Thank you. I haven't posted this piece in the doubt community (yet), but I've posted my longer novella one (I think, I vaguely remember doing that).

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It really means a lot when people post comments on my stories.

This is delicious.

I love everything about it. The writing style was really unique and incredibly attractive - adding to the poetic feel of the story. I really like how you wrote both Aloysius and James. I hope you plan to write more in this fandom. You really grasp both characters so well.

I particularly enjoyed the way you caught James' innocence and way of speaking. I also really liked Aloysius' presence and her take-charge behavior.

So delightful, and so perfectly ended, "The nuns don't rise in unison, but nearly so."

Profusely, thank you. Your comment really means a lot to me-- the fact you not only took the time to comment, but also highlighted what you liked (stroked my ego :P) really made my day.

I'm glad you liked the style; I sometimes worry I get too err... winded. Poetry is actually what I prefer to write, and I write tons. I'm glad it comes through even in my prose.

I will likely and hopefully continue to write in this fandom. Your feedback is definitely helping nudge me to write more. :)

By the way, Question: I noticed that you write the possessive Aloysius' as such. I've been writing it as Aloysius's. Am I just mangling the English language? It's just so ingrained in me to write it the way I do, although I'm unsure if it is correct. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to proofread but myself. :-/

You know I've often wondered if I was correct. I remember from school grammar lessons that if an s is at the end of the word, to leave it off when adding the apostrophe. I have no idea though, other then that. It might be horribly wrong!

I just read up a little on it. Apparently the method you used is widely used in newspapers, but some say the usage in newspapers is incorrect. It seems as a general rule (to some, it's somewhat divided) that it would be Aloysius's rather than Aloysius' because when the ' is placed after an S it is because of the word being plural-- Aloysiuses' (multiple Sister Aloysiuses lol). I dunno. No more research for me. Mine is at least acceptable in some circles, which is good enough for me. :P

I can't believe that I forgot to comment on this story after reading your other Doubt fic!

Anyway, this was beautifully written and I love what you did with their characterisations as well as how the story developed and all before the film's timeline too ;-)

I hope you'll consider writing more Doubt fic as I love everything else you've written :D

Thank you.

I love your avatar by the way. :) Made me smile.

Well, I certainly am glad you remembered to comment. :-) It definitely makes me happy when someone comments. And, it makes me even happier to hear you've enjoyed it--- makes me feel like I'm doing something right.

I actually have another Doubt fic in the works as I type! Its working title is "Orchids". Hopefully it will be finished in the next few days.
