Hopefully I'll be able to think up something without an OFC, though I may continue this one.
I don't even know if I could write Married With Children as a comedy, oddly enough. When I think of Peggy Bundy in a reality world...I just can't see her happy in that situation (at least in the later seasons where her troll husband doesn't even want her).
Well, it makes sense. Peg was never supposed to be a three-dimensional character (none of them were, actually). Give her that added depth, and she couldn't possibly be satisfied with her situation.
I knew Katey Segal wore a wig, and the fashion police never approved of her wardrobe, but in those tight tops and frilly nightgowns? And the way she wiggled when she walked? She was definitely one of the hottest women in her age bracket on TV. (And hotter than Kelly.)
Lol no worries. I can almost 99.99999% guarantee no Peggy/Marcy. I just can't...see it. I imagine their height difference like a trillion times bigger than it already is (and it is big). Just awkward and weird.
Her bad fashion sense was almost a plus. I can't really imagine her without it. The over the top hair just made me adore her. It was just so bright and so big and so ridiculous and red. Just awesome. lol I never found Kelly attractive, quite honestly. Not that she isn't pretty, just not my type I guess.
As I sit here in the torpid humidity currently blanketing southern Alabama I sit here thinking: You are a FREAKING GENIUS. Seriously though I thought I was surely the only person in America who crushed on Peg Bundy back in the day.
Your description of the heat and humidity, the way it sucks the energy right out of a person was spot on.
Possibly. I don't really know. I've got two other new things "in the works" that I'm too lazy to finish. A "perhaps" is all I can give you. Thanks for reading. :)

Very interesting, working with the storyline as a drama, not a comedy. I hope there's more.

I don't know; there was just something about Peggy always strutting around that caught my eye in my young teens. She's just a hottie.
