This was fantastic! This is only the second story I've read of Doubt and now you've got me hooked.

Good luck finding more. Tell me if you do. :-) I really only wrote this because it's so damn hard to find, which boggles my mind a bit. I mean, c'mon, I know it's a drama about the doubt surrounding whether or not a priest is a pedophile, BUT Meryl Streep is in it and she's a nun. And I always associate nuns with sex or kink (granted, no kink in this story, but it came very close to being kinky and smutty). Plus, the whole scene where Meryl's character admits to sinning. What is the sin? OooOOooOoo. Okay, I'm done. :-P Thanks for reading.

This story was wonderful! I love Doubt!fic. And there's something delightfully wicked and wonderful about nunslash.

(If you're looking for more Doubt fic, have you tried here? There aren't many stories yet, but what's there is awesome.)

@ Jackiejlh

I haven't been there! I will go check it out. Thank you twice! Once for the love your sending my way, and another for the Doubt community.

Also, nunslash. Yum. Quite honestly, even if it wasn't Meryl Streep, I'd be all over the nunslash. I'm a freak like that. ;-)

Wow. I have just spent the past hour and a half reading this whole thing, and I'm speechless. This is by far the best fan-fiction I've read, ever. I haven't even seen the movie, but I am somewhat familiar with the play. Everything you wrote is spot on, and the tension, the reluctance, the tip-toing around of everyone, is written to perfection. Touching and emotional and what a lovely ending!!! I cried. Brilliant work.

Hahaha, I actually have a fan? Awesome.

Aw. Sorry you cried, though.

Quite a bit of the dialogue is taken directly from the script, which I mention in the disclaimer. I'm very faithful to everything in the movie, but I do alter conversations from it and, of course, add my own scenes. But, I pretty much piggyback the script and movie plot; so, a bit less impressive. The ending is basically identical to the movie's ending, which I found perfect and didn't have the heart to alter, except for the addition of a kiss, which is was sorely lacking. :-P But thank you for your compliments. They mean a lot. <3

This was really good! I love the way you combined the movie with your story. It was sweet and a little sad, but really beautiful. You should definitely write more!

BTW, you said you wanted to read more doubt stories. I don't want to be all 'look at me, I'm a good writer' or anything, but I wrote a DWP/Doubt crossover if you're interested.

Thank you. Hopefully I will write more.

I did want to read more, yes. I looked on your LJ but couldn't find what you mentioned (I only breezed through, though). I saw you like The Origin of Love from the movie Hedwig & the Angry Inch. Love that song; love that soundtrack. Anyways, send the crossover my way. :)

Yeah, I suck at tags, so it's very hard to find anything at my LJ.

We watched bits and pieces of Hedwig and the angry inch at school. I never saw it in it's totality, but I loved the songs, especially the Origin of Love.

Anywa, here's the story:http://surena-13.livejournal.com/4215.html

I hope you like it.

As far as Hedwig, I pretty much love all the songs. Though, I always love "Wicked Little Town" as sung by Hedwig's character.

I just finally got around to reading it. Very nice. :-)
