I love serious little Michael.
Somehow I can only picture him as a smaller version of Wentworth. Like Went just shrunk down to size. ;P

:D And those big, blue eyes staring at you, waiting to see if you're actually serious everytime you say something unexpected. :0
At some point, I'm fairly sure Michael was more like a mini-adult than a child. Those genius types so often are! :D

I'd say it's a little early in the season for this story (though it's what came to me), but sadly, in Chicago there's already snow!

Favorite bits included: Lincoln notices Michael fumbling with the doorknob, and stops to pull Michael’s hand out of the glove and put it on again with the fingers actually in the correct holes.
“Michael, how come you can read big words like ‘demonstrate’ and ‘coincidence,’ but you can’t figure out how to put your gloves on right?”
“I’m only seven,” Michael answers, as if that somehow makes sense of it all.
and
“Okay then,” Michael says. Lincoln wonders how it is he keeps losing out in negotiations with a seven-year-old.
Thanks a ton,
DC

This was fun, though. I so rarely write kidFic, and it's really very sweet. :)

Yay! There's probably no day that can't be helped by a little kidFluff. That's my motto! :D
