The image of weeboys in those costumes is too much. Sam as bee=cute.

“Daddy, wook-- punkin,” Sammy pointed. *MELTS*

“Then take it off and turn the light on inside the house. Just hand out the candy and behave yourself, son, and nobody gets hurt.” Aw John! John would be an awesome Dad to go getting Candy with - "only one piece? Are you kidding me? Hand it over lady" - gestures menacingly. And now I'm drifting off into a fantasy land of my own. I MUST start my Halloween fic!! (It's John turns trick or treating into a training session).

Happy Halloween to me, he thought happily, eating a Snickers bar as he counted through his hoard. Heh, good for Dean. I like how the demonstrated how Halloween is different depending on what age you are - the toddlers get all the attention, you really are too old as a teen, but that people go anyway ( ... )

Oh, bee-suits are so terribly cute. Love the soft, fuzzy ones especially.

:D This sounds like such a wonderful prompt! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. :D

the toddlers get all the attention, you really are too old as a teen, but that people go anyway.
The teenagers really shouldn't still go, but they do. As if they're expecting to have all the joys of childhood and none of the responsibilities of adulthood for a long, long time.

Halloween IS very big over here, and I'm always surprised that anyone else much celebrates it. It seems to be mostly an American phenomenon. Fun though, and sometimes just very cute!

And oh, I think John didn't hold much with Halloween as a kids' holiday at all-- I'll bet he looked only at the serious side, and that the boys never got to have any real fun with it. :(

Awww! *grins* Sammy as a bumblebee! Dean scaring a teen with his shotgun was unexpectedly great. The kid who scared them and got yelled at by John was hilarious. Oh god. *giggles* The look on his face. *shakes head and giggles more*

I just loved Dean clutching onto Sammy's furry pony paw. Awww. They were all very sweet. It's great to see some positive family type memories for the boys. *grins* *bounces* Now I want to go trick or treating. And the only way that's happening is if I take my nieces because it's generally frowned upon for college students to go door to door---dressed up or not. *pouts*

Still awesome story. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy. *grins*

Can't you just see it? Bee-suits are Teh Awesome on toddlers.

Dean scaring a teen with his shotgun was unexpectedly great.
Oh, I love that one. Definitely evilFunny!

The kid who scared them and got yelled at by John was hilarious.
God, can't you just see it? Scared Serious by John Winchester: Just do your job, and don't embellish! and Kid: Sir! Yes, Sir!"

And the only way that's happening is if I take my nieces because it's generally frowned upon for college students to go door to door---dressed up or not. *pouts*
Oh, taking tiny people around is SO much fun, though. And I love to see how people decorate their houses. Might as well milk that excuse while you can, and your nieces will love you for it.

Glad you liked it! Hope this semester's going well-- I've missed you! *waves*

So fun, hon!

She noticed Dean in his skeleton costume then. Dean might as well have been dressed as a rock.
“Oh, and you too of course,” she said, dropping a single piece of candy into his bag.

Cute little siblings are a plague upon mankind. *g*

The whole Bumblebee piece was fabulous!

And Dean scaring the teen off at the end. awesome!

Thanks for sharing!

:D I'm so glad you noticed poor Dean's side of The Bumblebee piece. "Dean might as well have been dressed as a rock" pretty much says it all, doesn't it? That has to be even worse when the siblings are so far apart in age, because baby or toddler trick-or-treaters are the cutest things ever! No-one else stands a chance. :0

And Dean scaring the teen off at the end. awesome!
Hee! That one is so very close to something canonDean might do. And evilFunny as well. Sick, but you know-- funny all the same. Like so many sick things. :D

Ooh, these were fun! Good job on each one, showing us different looks at what might have been Dean’s various Halloweens.

Comments, by part:

The Fairy Princess

At six he was a Ninja warrior, which was very cool. But the costume was mostly black, and his parents spoiled it by making him wear a pair of dorky lights on the front and back so cars could see him.

*g* Those darned parents, ruining all their kids’ fun.

“Never insult a lady’s clothes, her hair, or her shoes,” Mary said with a hint of a smile.

She’s a wise woman. :)

The Axe Murderer

“Daddy, wook-- punkin,” Sammy pointed.

Aww, he’s so cute! *pinches Sammy’s cheeks*

“Sorry!” the kid said. “I didn’t…I wouldn’t…here.” He thrust the bowl of candy at them.

LOL! I love how John scared the kid into handing over all the candy.

The Bumblebee

Poor, overlooked Dean. *pets him*

Sometimes I AM that darned parent ("Lauren, you have to wear something warm under your fairy costume"). I mock myself there. ;)

LOL! I love how John scared the kid into handing over all the candy.
And he didn't even mean to-- he was just being himself. Rrawr! :D

Poor, overlooked Dean. *pets him*
It's just so inevitable if you have a toddler sibling who has already maxed out the cuteness without even trying! Darn those siblings. :)

Aww, Sammy’s so adorable here. *pinches him*
:) I ask myself why no-one has ever come to MY door in this kind of "theme set" of costumes. Why? I would pay actual money to see a knight/pony combo.

LOL! I think this is my favorite one. I love Dean scaring the crap out of the kid and getting all the candy.
:D It's so Dean! And in the end, it totally works out for him, too.

Thanks for reading and commenting-- I love that you always take the time to draw out lines and go the extra mile. It's wonderful. :)

*g* Kids have weird fashion sense, don't they?

True, true. I have two little girls, so I've seen that happen firsthand.

Maybe this year will be the year. :)

The Greedy Teenager made me laugh and laugh. I can practically see it happening.
God, I would LOVE to see that happen on the show-- or some other variant of cantankerous teen Dean (well on his way to becoming the kind of grown-up who would berate someone for scaring his kids half to death with his costume. He's definitely John's son all the way.)

Thanks so much for your comments. :D

He sure knows how to get in touch with his inner grouchy 70-year-old every now and then, doesn't he?
:D He really does.

It's funny, because he's always accusing Sam of being uptight, and I'm sure he thinks Sam acts like an old lady sometimes. But there are moments when Dean is thisClose to whacking people with an imaginary cane, or pulling out the rifle on their bad behavior. :)
