I have one of these high power daylight lamps for the breakfast table, and they do make a difference in the darker season!

My husband had one, and it helped a little bit (his SAD is pretty severe). But it was declared a loss after the fire, so he'll have to get another one. The insurance company seemed to think it was a basic lamp, too!
