i spent most of dark being so confused, but i remember the finale as being very... final, and thus really satisfying. so much of the show was so circular, you know?

are the new and/or old finns worth checking out?

It got much more confusing in S2, and then keeping straight which version of a character you were seeing (and in what world) became challenging. S3 was full of, "No, you're KIDDING!" moments when people are moving forwards and backwards in time and having children they shouldn't be having and who have their own children in turn. I think the only part I was completely firm on was, "I reject this. You can't be your own mother's mother."

We sure enjoyed it, though, and it's so nice to have a series be able to complete the fully story it intended to tell, without random non-renewal issues getting in the way. :O

Both of the Finn shows are good, though I much preferred S1 of Bordertown to the follow-on seasons. We've only seen the first season of Deadwind so far, so I can't say whether the second is worthwhile. Both shows are in Finnish with English subtitles, which makes for better viewing.
