Thanks for sharing. This fic brought me happily back to 2007. Also you wrote the story in the shortest and simplest way from Matt's POV. I hope you will keep your interest in this fandom.

I hadn't originally thought to write the reverse POV from the John story, but that was definitely how this one wanted to end.

I still love this pairing, and it's more a relief when I can get one of these stories to _finish_ instead of stalling out and mocking me along with its friends. It's nice to know other people still love the fandom too!

Oh, me too. This is my favorite of the Die Hard movies, for these two alone. Matt's character makes John seem so much less smug, and John helps Matt to grow up a little.

And then there's the chemistry. And the hotness. ;)
