I really, really miss the S1-S3 Walter and Olivia. Their pain was so exquisite, and there's something about knowing that Walter caused this mess and probably would still do it all over again to have Peter back that just gets to you.

I miss it, too. The weirdness was always secondary to the joy of the characters for me, and Walter and Peter's various arcs in the different universes used to just break me.

All of Walter's worst havoc on the world was accidental, and all driven by love. There is a terrible beauty in all of it.

Me, too. I think it might be time to rewatch the series via Netflix now, and revisit some of the lovely pain of those early seasons.
