There is silence at the edge of the desert, there on the brink of a new horizon.

One step, and you might be lost from the world (from yourself), left with nothing but silk-sand drifting and whirling, stretching out ahead.

How can you not follow?

Past the next dune, or the hollowed-out memory of a rock, you might find the place where peace lies waiting for you to claim it. In the realm of barren mysteries, still seeking life's hidden truth, you wander on until you become the wind, an illusion, a moment in time…

You fade into the sun.
