S02 of Justified just started two weeks ago in Helioland and Boyd looks so hawt with his 50ties glasses on, IMO.^^

I didn't even know you watched Justified, but I'm glad you found this!

I haven't been writing Justified long-- just a couple of drabbles and a short fic-- but the end of S1 sent me chasing after Raylan/Boyd slash ASAP. There's such a vibe between them, so much implied history and such inability to just walk away.

not a regular thing my ass.... we all know they can't quit each other. :D boyd's reaction - "this is the best thing that's ever happened" - makes this really sweet, which is kind of odd for raylan/boyd. but i like it.

we all know they can't quit each other.
It's so easy to think the first time will be the only one when you're halfway to denying it's even happening. But in this case, I just don't see how.

And Boyd... he just gives the impression of being the one who feels more, and we know he was the one who was "left." The way he looks at Raylan even now is so moonstruck half the time. Which is one of the things I love about the show!

That's what I love about drabbles-- how much you can imply rather than explicitly state, and yet the reader still gets the whole sense of it.

"Raylan acts like Boyd's about to start picking out curtains"
And while Boyd scoffs at the idea, at some point down the road he's going to feel that fleeting temptation, and wish things were closer to that than the truth of just secrets and stolen moments.
