This is just a perfect little scene. You've shown me so much! I look forward to reading more.

So glad you liked it!

This is actually just a 100-word drabble (I made an offer for drabbles the other night). I have several that are longer-- either via my "Other fanfic" page, or by clicking the "White Collar" tag. I know that's one of your fandoms!

Is this the TV Guide photo? Nice, though a little suggestive.

Also, artistically speaking... I'd prefer Matt's head to be straight up and not tilted. The negative space below Peter's legs is off-kilter, but Matt's right arm lines up perfectly.

OCD or aesthetics? :0

that is exactly something my sister would say, that the good stuff is smooth. heh. i love the contrast between neal's ease and comfort and peter just wanting to look like it's ok that he's there. it's kind of the two of them in a nutshell.

I think it might take an afficionado to notice, too, though I'm not much of a drinker.

Neal is so at home in a setting like that, and though Peter can look the part, he'd have to B.S. his way through the conversations that for Neal are second nature.

Thanks for reading!

This is a nice scene; it says a lot with so little.

Thank you! This could be one of many setups they've run before, but Peter's concerns are the truth underneath the flashy surface.
