I know what you mean.

Darn canon for interfering with channeling HappyWinchesters!

Thank you!

I think the boys must have had a greater mix of happy/sad than most kids, if for no other reason than that they were always on their way to being someplace else.

It really is. *sniffle*

And can you blame him? Chickens are evil, especially if you're little. Domestic Terrorists, I say. :0

So many new and wonderful things that get left behind all too soon. I think every child probably feels that, but for the Winchesters it would be especially often.

Dean kept Sammy safe from them.

*MELTS* He's such a serious little child, but in that last paragraph he gets to be very young for a bit, making it even sadder when he has to go back to reality.

And it's so sad that he HAS to be. But that's what life after Mary did to him. :(

You can see, once he got over the shock of the size/aggression issue with the livestock, how wonderful a place like that would be for a young child. And really, even the scary cows and chickens are kind of an adventure when you're finding all that out for the first time! Chickens look so harmless in cartoons, but when they come up to your little brother's waist... maybe not so much. :0

:D
