Okay, so I had to go back and check the username on this post because, because it's you and it's Michael and Sara, and hello, is this real life?

Heh.

I really liked this, and I just love the phrase 'late night nobility'. It's perfect for a good man constantly trying to justify leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Nice job! :)

Hee! Never say never, and the prompt for this LAS round not only sounded like Michael, it also seemed to beg for the person who paid the biggest price for his deception.

It's perfect for a good man constantly trying to justify leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.
Funny that you picked that out, because the germ of the whole story lies in that phrase and in that sentence.

As it's amazing to think that as bad as the repercussions of Michael's plan already were, they would get SO much worse by the time he and Lincoln were out and on the run.

So glad you took a chance on reading this, and liked it! :)

I love manipulative Michael...but I don't like him! It seems he just can't help the lies coming out of his mouth. And the lies that come out of his eyes, come to that. Poor Sara. :(

That last line totally gives him away!!

You still write PB fics to die for...and here are so few now it makes me so happy when I do find one!

Thank you, sweetheart!

I find manipulative Michael fascinating too, but also aggravating. And he would so like to believe he's not quite as manipulative as he actually is.

That last line totally gives him away!!
Yes! Sarah was one of his worst, and most deliberate, victims. He nearly cost her everything. :(

So glad you enjoyed this story, and I'm happy there are still a few readers out there too! :)
