Make it go away...

It's just stupid-hot here right now, and today's bike ride was fairly miserable. I hate biking near my office anymore. There's no shade, and it's also about 3-7 degrees hotter than near my house. Double-fail. :(

On the topic of the LJ Privacy Fail and how to circumvent it, important info below the cut: ( Please to help me vanquish the evil )

our animals make me nuts, tv, me, cycling

For Burn Notice, we're in S4 and I keep hoping Fiona will put on some weight and wear real shoes (at least during missions), so she'll actually look capable of doing the things she does.

Omg. I *so* agree. I adore her character, but I cringe whenever she picks up one of those giant guns bc I'm afraid her arms will snap off.

But no-instead, she doubled-up the eye makeup. Why?

And she's so horribly tan. Like in a bad midwest strip mall tan way. She really creeps me out this season (I don't even know what # it is, thank god for tivo) She's a beautiful woman, what are they doing to her?

My best price/time/setup combo is a mixture of airline services that would arrive at Midway and then leave from O'Hare. :0

Lol! The worst of both worlds!

Exactly! And I don't know what this obsession with being underweight is (it's as if we've re-entered the world of Ally McBeal again), but I certainly don't find it attractive, and I don't think that's the actress' natural body type (I think she is normally a little more filled-out).

She's a beautiful woman, what are they doing to her?
And I think it IS for the show-- perhaps they want to give her a "New look" after 4 years. Unfortunately, the new look _I_ was hoping for was a body with substance, not a '60s retread!

Lol! The worst of both worlds!
Hahaha! Well you know. You can't fly into Chicago and avoid both of them. ;)

You're welcome!

And drunk!Lucille cracks me up. I have no idea what she's thinking here, but then again... I never do. :D

I can't remember the exact scene, but she says something to Michael, winks, and he begs her never to do that again. :D

Damn, I love that show. Hope a movie will eventually come of it.

Oh, yes-- all the inappropriate incestuous references, followed by a complete failure to grasp the undertones of what she's just done or said.

I just had a flashback of the whole annual "Motherboy" convention, in all of its consumate wrongness. :)

I had no idea about the LJ/FB thing. Thanks for the info.

Fiona's weight and skin color have always annoyed me. To each his own and everything. It's just it's not a good look. And the shoe thing? How has she not twisted an ankle by now?

Now you know how to undo the disaster that LJ has wrought. Still PO'd about it. :(

Fiona _is_ awfully tan, and it's not healthy, but she's nearly my age and a lot of women my age and older were/are very stupid about sun exposure. And living in Miama, it's almost a lost cause-- like here. It's scorching, AND the sun is intense. Covering up with more clothes is not really an option.

But the skinniness makes her less believable in a kick-ass role, and the shoes... good god, so she's short. Deal already!

So true! I went to get a pedicure yesterday since I can't see my feet and bending over is always fun. The girl who did was nails had to be between 4'9" and 5'0" but she was wearing this huge wedge shoes. I'm like, how is those comfortable to be in all day?

I have far enjoyed Psych this season than last. Last season just wasn't funny to me, and Shawn was just over the top with everything (and not funny about it). Plus, it seemed Gus got less screen/plot time than Shawn, which I don't see as fair, as they're a team. This season Gus has ROCKED.

Am now going to bed and hope the last of my headache disipates.

What's the real-time Psych on? S4? Later still?

Shawn's "I'm having a psychic vision" thing has always embarrassed me rather than being funny (except for the Pilot or Ep 2, where he told the woman guarding the phones that her grandmother had a message for her in the records room. Near the letter "W"...)

I was very surprised when a sister surfaced for Gus in S3. If ever anyone reeked of "Only Child" syndrom, it's Gus.

And moreover... There's no swapping Dads! Ernie Hudson and Keith David are not interchangeable! I like them both, but let's not pretend they're the same person. Not as bad as the two Darrins in "Bewitched," but still.

Psych is on season 5 in real time. I wasn't impressed with S4. Yes, it's had some bad moments, but overall it gives me quite a laugh. I agree that Gus seems the 'only child' and I was stunned when he revealed he had a sister. I like learning more about Lassiter's background. Not so interested in Juliet.
