This season is killing me! I just want them safe and happy, where the evil is simple and the good doesn't become evil, and it only seems like the weight of the world is on their shoulders. *sigh*

I have to stop myself from begging for a piece that has more than just a hundred words. -grin-

I so want to get a handle on those longer pieces again, though at this point I'd welcome 300-1000 words just because S5 has proved so hard to work with (even when fleeing to the safety of the past).

I've got to save up some awake time to finish my longer WIPs, or write longer ficlets!

I'm glad you think so! One of the things I hope the show stays true to is that Dean's love for Sam trumps everything else-- even the future of the world itself, and most especially if that future promises to be nothing more than the wasteland fallout of the angels and their petty arguments.

Oh no, he will not give them Sam.... I love the resolve in this, rock solid beneath the tenderness, and the way Sam is the anchor of Dean's strength. Beautiful. :)
