Though I saw your last post, and it was more like, "Being waylaid for days by a migraine has occasional good side-effects."
And you've captured the beginning of that relationship here so perfectly with Sucre's voice - his uncertainty, but also his gut feeling that this (the escape and trusting Michael) is what he should be doing.
Sometimes I feel like "Compadres" is doomed to be my seminal Michael&Sucre fic, because it covers the full ground of their friendship, but telling this story from Sucre's side shows the reality of Sucre's optimism and openness and how he both could not keep from liking Michael any more than he could keep from being the perfect (though unlikely) friend for Michael.

Lol! Yes, any bad habit can be a good habit when viewed from "a certain point of view." That's my motto and I'm sticking to it!

Haha - if I thought I'd get great personally-written-for-me fic with each migraine, I might stop bithcing about them so much and embrace the head pain. Silver lining, babee, silver lining!

Yes, that's just the idea I got from the show, too, and what made this so in-character for me.
