:D At the same time, I love that you can throw out a whole mood and not have to explain the backstory for what you set up or the larger fallout from the vignette. You can get such variety and range of microstories doing this. :)

When I think of the bleakness in contrast between the life Dean had and the life it so quickly became, it is just crushing.

John lost a great deal too, but he chose the more extreme fallout of that afterwards. Dean never had a say in that at all. :( *angsts*
