various dumb things i am compelled to post about:

airlines lost one of my bags. just a small duffel bag with dirty clothes, shoes and an air mattress. at least they promise to send it once they figure out where it is. (lost in Detroit and not by us. we rechecked the bags ourselves after customs. we watched them put it on the security xray ( Read more... )

Is the security tag one of those magnet ones? If so a strong magnet will get them off. But I have no idea where to get a strong magnet.

yeah it is one of the magnet/dye combo thingys. i have no idea where to get a powerful magnet...i don't really want to buy one. can't you see me walking into a hardware store with bras and asking for the magnet aisle? bwahaha. sounds like the start of a bad joke.

i have considered calling a local dept store (40 mins away) and ask them about their magnet mechanisms. if that fails, then i will have to mail them back to my friend, T, and have her return them to the store and then mail them back to me. *sigh*

That stupid woman. I guess that's what you get for asking her questions - she couldn't multitask!
If you do mail them back to me, you'll have to include the receipt so's I can prove you bought them.
Let me go see what kind of tags they use. I've had one left on an item before, and I was able to lever it off. So if it's the same kind...

That's good news about the bag.

yeah, do let me know if they can be pried off. of course one of them is a dye packet, which really that shade of magenta is not my color. LOL will see if i can convince another store to remove them for me. i do still have the receipts so proving they WERE purchased is no problem. it is just an annoyance.

using this icon b/c a little bird told me he is def coming back for more this season. *squee*

On the SPN front, I guess the boy could do worse than identify with Dean! Sure, he's a hound dog, etc, (which actually I think is a bit of a 'front' - watch how he changes towards Andrea in 'Dead in the Water', as soon as he sees she is in trouble). But he's also fiercely loyal to his family, and has a very strong sense of right & wrong (Sam is more ambivalent, IMO).

Why yes, I'm rewatching, too.... *g*

yeah this is true. Dean does have some good qualities. i cant complain much b/c he could be wanting to be like some other less desirable character.

we see so much more of thatfront in the recent eppy. Afterschool Special showed how Dean does use this front to function and yet how tormented and insecure he is. Sam seemed so much more stable and grounded with who he is in this eppy even though he is just a kid.

yay! for rewatching.
