I think Obama said it right when he said he can't really guarantee everything, but now we have the opportunity to change this country. It's a good step forward indeed.
Same here!! I'm not very political and I don't like people who argue to the extremities (i.e. extreme liberals are NOT any better than extreme conservatives), so I never hated McCain. He did pretty much shoot himself in the foot when he chose Palin, unfortunately DDDD: I think his campaign wasn't managed well at all, which made it easier for Obama to gather votes. And yeah, I agree that McCain has a different perspective and I completely respect that - moreso after his concession speech :) I actually liked his speech more than Obama's XD;
I was surprised at how eloquent he was, after hearing all of his other speeches! It was almost sad to watch, too, he seemed very sincere. But yeah, if anything he can breathe now that the campaign has come to an end.

I agree. McCain's speech was so much more eloquent than he's been speaking during the campaign in general. I guess way more relaxed now?
