I also cried at the 200m backstroke. I love Piersol!!! :-D In fact he's one of the only members of the American team I really like. (Phelps is mad talented and I give him props for that, but his personality ruins it for me. Sry Mikey.) Don't you miss Ian Crocker. D: I wonder what happened to him this time. :-X He brought out the good side of Michael. Now it's only Ryan Lochte around and all they talk about is "~macking on the ladies~" together.
But why I cried at the 200m backstroke was because Markus Rogan didn't place. Do you remember how amazingly sportsmanlike he was at Athens 2004? D-: Plus he and Aaron are secret BFF.
LOL! Oh I thought you were referring to how he was 4th in the same Cavic/Phelps race D: I SO SAD. I remember back in Athens when he and the US team won the gold for the relay. MUCH LOVE FOR CROCKER TOO.
And YES omg I think Peirsol is my favorite American swimmer. I STILL don't like Phelps much (which makes me feel a little bad, given the fact that he's really talented - but you're right, his personality just doesn't click for me :\) ALSO: yes Lochte is always so ~laid back~ and w/e, but he doesn't seem like a good influence on Phelps XD They're just going to become snoggers D:

BTW I love that we have the same feelings regarding the Olympics. I love spazzing with you! ♥

D: For whatever reason I totally slept through the race this morning. I was sleepy. It's the first I've missed so far. :-/ No one was talking about Crocker so I assumed he was out. :-( I love Crocker. :-(( I'm sorry Crocker... :-((((
Piersol is, I dunno. He's so Texan but he's also Old School and I think that's what I really miss. Did you hear what Pieter said about himself being in the old guard that needed to step away and let the youngins' do their work? It was so sad. :-x

I still need to find my love for Phelps, too, but it's buried way too deep and I'm too lazy to dig it up. And also, I think Lochte is a doofus.
