[ Feed flickers on, camera on the ceiling of the library that the 'young' half-elf had been studying in well into the night because even if school hadn't begun he was still a nerd and nerds had to feed the ever growing curiosity especially since he'd arrived there. He was half-way convinced he should set up a cot in one of the rows and sleep there

[Lloyd's brow furrows into a frown with a hint of suspicious scowl.] Should have gotten me to touch it? Hey, what's that supposed to me...

[Until he gets a look at his friend - and he blinks]

[ ...Genis just wants to go hide behind the bookshelves and just...hide there for life. ] Lloyd, those card things work. [ He thought people were just crazy when they talked about it. /: ]

[Isn't it amazing, Genis, how someone can be here longer than you and not know as much?]

[ He didn't expect much. :| But he facepalms just the same. ] Really, Lloyd? How long have you been here?

Think back, people have been speaking about the effects these 'cards' have been having on them since they've found them. A little while ago a man turned into a woman! [ Thank everything that he didn't find that one. ] There's also another boy who found a card around the same time I did and he's also aged older than he was before.

It's a clear and present danger. Who knows what else these cards could do to a person? You should probably steer clear from them.

Really? [Lloyd blinks.] Wow. I guess I wasn't paying attention. That's really possible?

[Then he stop and pauses and...]

Wait...

[He looks at Genis, something connecting in his mind.]

What do these cards look like?

Well...I am older than I was the last time you saw me. [ He pauses. ] I'm not sure how it all works, but apparently it's been something present from the very start. I'll have to look more into it to be completely sure.

[ He sees those rusty gears starting to turn, Lloyd. ]

Wha--Like a card. That you find in a completely random place. I think mine was blue. Why do you ask?

Because...

Hang on.

[Lloyd sets his Dreamberry down while he goes through some of his things. A minute or two later, he holds something up.]

I found this card a while back. Is this what you're talking about?

[halfelfmagic]

[ Really, Lloyd? You had one this entire time? He facepalms. ]

Yeah! That's it. Maybe it has the same effect as the one I have does.

[Lloyd perks up.]

You mean, this card thing could make me older? Man, I want to see that! I wonder what I'll look like!

[He looks at the card, looks at his Dreamberry, and oh, hey, there's a slot. That must be where this goes! Not even pausing to think twice about it, the teen sticks the card right in.]

[Yeah, someone never realized that he used this card once already, never connected the dots to figure out what this card did. The change is almost instantaneous, and where once a seventeen year old boy had been standing, there's a boy who looks like he's eight.

Lloyd jerks in surprise, then whirls around and stares.]

Wh-what happened? Where am I?

Maybe you should wait until I get there, Lloyd. I can look more at the card rather than just--

[ THIS FACE FOREVER. The half-elf stares blankly at the screen when he sees the younger version of his friend. ]

Lloyd?! You're...Lloyd, stay where you are! [ He's going to hurry over and try to contact the others. He's not sure he can handle an eight year old Lloyd Irving. ]

[Akalsdfjaksl holy cow, what's this thing in his hand?!

Wait. Wait. That's a person. It's not just a picture, it's moving.]

Oh man, that's so cool! How'd you get in that box?

[Still checking out the room, now, and looking out the window. Oh, hey, he can see some trees.]

But I can't stay here. I'm s'posed to go home!

[ ...It's magic~, bb!Lloyd. Genis isn't really sure what to do but he just sets down the dreamberry and starts gathering up his things. Who knew what Lloyd could get into? He remembered when they were kids...Lloyd got into everything. ]

Don't go anywhere! You could get lost, Lloyd!

Nah, you don't have to worry about that. I'm already lost, so I can't get loster than that!

[Sorry, Genis, he's grabbing the doorknob and leaving his room, then leaving his apartment next.]

You're not lost. You're just...not where you're supposed to be right now.

[ :| Loster is not a word. It's more lost, bb!Lloyd. Genis sighs a bit, shaking his head. ]

I...[ He's your best friend. ] I'm a friend of your dad's. He told me to watch after you until he got back. [ He finished getting everything before slinging his bag over his shoulder. ]
