So, I doubt anyone will see much of me on Saturday Manifest this year. And definitely not in the evening, when I will be either counting votes, watching the count in a pub, or counting votes and then going to a pub to watch the count ( Read more... )

MISS ELECTION MASTER. If you are not going to be in your voting district on the 21st what do we do? Because I am sure not going home to Frankston from the city while trying to get ready for Manifest.

It's easy! You can vote at any polling place in Victoria. When you go in there'll be a separate line for people who are from other electorates; if you can't see it, just ask someone. Then once they've checked your enrollment, they'll give you the right ballot papers and you fill them out and put them in a special ballot box.

(It will be harder for people travelling from interstate - they'll have to apply for permission to either vote early or vote by post.)

... I wonder if it's too late to request a job on the nearest booth to the con. I would ask for photos but I think it may actually be illegal to take photographs inside a polling place. :(
