Often it's only the grass when it's pollinating (during spring) or grass clippings if it's been freshly cut. So hopefully you won't have to avoid grass forever and always.

I had a massive allergic reaction on the weekend to something mysterious in mexican food. Good thing I always carry anti-histamines just in case.

Mexican food is a pain like that because it can contain a huge number of different ingredients. Particularly the seasonings. (And what do you mean by a 'massive' allergic reaction? *is concerned now*)

I don't know about pollinating grass. It's autumn now. They should be finished with the pollination.

By 'massive' I mean massive for me XD no hospital involved. But I broke out in hives all over my neck and face, all my limbs were itchy, my eardrums started to pound, my head began to throb and my throat started to swell. Luckily by that time I'd already taken something for it - when I first noticed myself pulling off my scarf to scratch my neck, the little red flag went up.

Woohoo! That's awesome. Thank you so much for that. You find such good stuff sometimes.

The funny thing is, Asians** apparently have ~grass jelly~ in some of their drinks... @.@

...and don't get me started on my opinion on 'wheatgrass' in juice bars. ^^'

**I probably should point out the irony of me using the word 'Asians' in this context. And that i don't think i could drink anything like that.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DELICIOUS GRASS SANDWICHES? D=

Shan't be too bad though, should it? Unless you love to lie on grass naked XD, it can't be too much of a task to protect exposed areas. Depending on what you wear, I suppose. Then again it's probably just easier to avoid the grass. Oh wells

I KNOW, I KNOW. I'LL NEVER HAVE GRASS STEW AGAIN EITHER. WOE.

It's not really a big deal. Just no touching the grass/always bring a picnic blanket. I'm really not at all concerned about it - I just posted because I found it sort of amusing.

Although it's been two days now and the hives aren't going down. Maybe I should try to do something about that.

Is it a certain type of grass, or a blanket "all grass"?

I don't know. It probably is just one specific type of grass, but I have no idea how to figure out which type it is. And even if I do, I'm not sure that I'd be able to recognise it when going out on picnics and so forth.
