If you're too poor, wouldn't buy anyway, don't trust, whatever, then there's a very simple solution.
Freeware.
There are a plethora of very fine games (both open source and closed) across every genre (except perhaps RTS, seems to be a bit of a small market there) that people release absolutely free. With the vast selection of point and click adventures, RPGs, first person shooters, racing sims, jump and runs, whatever, all variant and some actually pretty good, sometimes I wonder why I buy any games at all. Although, I don't think I've paid more than $5 for a game in quite some time, except for Minecraft, but that's besides the point.
Anywho, people know the internet gives us free porn, free comics, free music, and free videos, but not many people appreciate the amount of free games there are. Take advantage of them. If a free game sucks, you can feel confident deleting it knowing that it didn't cost you a dime.

Exactly, dude.
I've found a lot of free and awesome games that were referenced in Super Meat Boy as unlockable characters.
It just takes the proper research. Like the video says, the dude found a ton of free games to play that were awesome and fun.
