This may be the last time I get a chance to update before the invasion of my mother's family. They're arriving sometime this afternoon, and I still need to vaccuum, wrap several presents, get something for my father (who is horrible to shop for because he doesn't WANT anything and there's very little he would even enjoy if he had it. Mostly stuff

One of my senior friends took the smart path to avoiding ugly competition: she didn't tell anyone what her SAT scores were, or what colleges she was applying to. So I guess you could consider a no-tell rule and see if that helps...? But honestly, when you get a good score, you want to brag about it-thinking about whether or not someone's feelings will be hurt comes second, especially when you finally feel like you're worth something, right? (If so- I know precisely how you feel.)
