no news is no news...

No news on the car, since autopac is behind.
No news on the baby, other than the ultrasound said he's fine.
No news on the renos, though primer is going up today and they continue to soldier on.

This ultrasound was much nicer this time. We were at the actual fetal assessment unit, which has better equipment, warmed jelly, and apparently better techs. ( Read more... )

I wonder daily if you've had your baby yet, but I won't start asking until well after your due date! After going through a due-on-the-6th and born-on-the-21st baby, I know all about going later! ;)

Sorry you haven't heard about the car yet - what car are you guys driving?

I know what its like to be lonely at home! Even now, it gets lonely. That's one of the hardest things I have to deal with after having a baby. Although I'm already sad that I have to go back to work, and I still have over 6 more months off! :)

I suspect Adrian will happily broadcast the news (once we have some) to any and all friends he has contact info for anyways :)

I'm not certain if you mean now, or before the accident :) We have (had?) a 1992 Toyota Corolla. It was in awesome shape and had very light use and little mileage on it. Currently we're using Adrian's parents' Intrepid.

I have to admit, I'm worried that I just won't want to go back to work at the end of this...

I hope he has our info! :)

With Hana I never had a traditional ultrasound, just a fetal assessment (maybe the ultrasound list was full???). It was great - no having to drink water, and a really nice tech who printed off 15 pictures for us! Much better than the second experience, with all the water drinking!

I was wondering if your car was still driveable, or if you had a loaner or what. I hope it's not a write-off!

It is hard to go back to work. I'm sad thinking about going back, and it's not until August!

I promise not to call you and ask you if you've had the baby yet :) But once you three get settled into a routine, i'll find babysitting for an evening and we'll come visit. I remember how terribly i got mugged by visitors at first :P So you lemme know when you are ready!

The worst part about the last few weeks was everyone calling constantly to ask if i was in labour yet. Like I wasn't anxious enough, and wanting the baby out already, i needed to be asked every hour if the baby was coming and if i was still sure it was a boy :P I think at one point I changed my phone message to, "No, i'm not in labour, i'll tell you when I am, and yes, i'm sure it's still a boy. If you're calling abotu something else, leave a message," and stopped answering the phone :)

I'm just hoping our renovations will be mostly done so we can start moving things upstairs before the baby comes... But on the other hand, I would be perfectly happy if the baby came now and just got it over with.

The phone thing is probably unlikely, as people don't tend to call me in general, which is possibly a good thing...

I love that you have a stubborn baby that was stiking his tongue out at you LOL Are you going to post the ultrasound picture at all? I realize they all look somewhat similar re: detail, but I love seeing them & thinking, this is so-and-so's baby :-)It's hilarious your dad refuses to believe the sex until he comes out LOL! I think I'd want to know the sex of my child as soon as I could too. Do you have a name ready?

You might have to bug Adrian about it, since it's only a paper printout and he has access to a scanner at work, while I do not :) Besides, this one is the 3D ultrasound, so isn't the grainy grey one, but a little smoother (it's not the clearest, but it's kinda cool to see anyway).

Adrian has a name he really likes, but I'm not sold on it entirely even though I also like it. I'm hoping I know which name to go with once I see the baby for the first time!

Maybe your baby wants to be an Aquarius instead of a Capricorn. Baby's come when they come, it is their day after all. Hopefully when the time arrives, it will be a nice and easy delivery.
